Baías e Enseadas Castelão 2023

21.90

Pale ruby in colour. The nose reveals aromas of raspberry and sour cherry, with mineral and earthy notes. On the palate, it is very dry and elegant, with fresh red fruit, balanced acidity and pronounced salinity. The tannins are firm and present, bringing tension and energy, with good breadth and a fresh, persistent finish.

Baías e Enseadas is an independent, small-scale wine project created by Daniel Afonso, driven by the desire to produce wines with a clear and distinctive identity. With an artisanal and sustainable approach, the project is deeply rooted in the Atlantic territory of Colares/Sintra, where wines are shaped by freshness, minerality and a strong sense of place. Focused on limited production and thoughtful winemaking, Baías e Enseadas has established itself as a producer recognised for its authenticity, both in Portugal and internationally.
